Pawleys Island Music Festival
Music of the Generations - The 2005 Pawleys Island Festival of Music and Art at Brookgreen Gardens! Mark your calendars for September 30 through October 23, 2005 when The Pawleys Island Festival of Music and Art comes to Brookgreen Gardens. Brookgreen houses more than five hundred and fifty works of art, comprising the world's finest outdoor collection of American figurative sculptures. Crystalline Place: Southeastern Artists at Littleton Studios
Forty vitreograph prints from the Littleton Studios in Spruce Pine, North Carolina will be on display at the Myrtle Beach Art Museum. Harvey Littleton of Littleton Studios is truly the modern pioneer of vitreography. The process was first attempted in the 1840’s in Vienna, and until new technology in the late 1970’s, it was too expensive to experiment with freely. Visitors will enjoy viewing these intricate prints created from glass etchings.

Oktoberfest on the Grand Strand
Oktoberfest, in its 12th year in Myrtle Beach, will be held October 7-8, 2005, and recently had to be moved to Coastal Federal Field to accommodate the more than 7,000 visitors. Beer, authentic German music, bratwurst, lederhosen, and did somebody mention beer? Well, they're all very present at the Grand Strand's version of this German countryside festival. Visitors devour German brown bread, sauerkraut and sausages, plus the usual festival fare of hamburgers, pizza and funnel cakes.

Sixteenth Annual Georgetown Wooden Boat Show
The Harbor Historical Association of Georgetown will present the 16th Annual Wooden Boat Show on Saturday, October 15, 2005 from 11 am to 6 pm. This year's show will feature one of the Southeast's finest wooden boat exhibits, a wooden boat building competition, children's model boat building, a boat raffle, maritime arts & crafts, food and music. 2nd Annual Live Oaks Art Festival
The 2nd Annual Live Oaks Art Festival will be held October 1, 2005 from 9am-6pm in downtown, historic Conway, SC featuring SC and Southern NC artists and performers. All artwork/ crafts will be the original work of the artist.

Enter your catch... caught from pier, surf, inlet or deep sea... for monthly decals, shoulder patches, and prizes totaling over $10,000 in cash and merchandise. Little River Shrimp and Jazz Fest
Little River Shrimp and Jazz Fest will be held October 8th and 9th on the waterfront in Beautiful Little River, SC. This promises to be the attraction of the year in days to come.
