Merrily Myrtle - A Holiday Celebration - Stars + Stars Light up the Holidays
Holiday entertainment in Myrtle Beach is wrapped up with a big ribbon when theaters put on special productions. With 8 major theatres you can unwrap many magical moments. Don't be fooled by the great imitators of Elvis, Garth Brooks and Reba Mcentire or miss out on such original acts as Neil Diamond, The Smothers Brothers or Roy Clark. The "stars" will shine and we'll light the lights at Brookgreen Gardens and on the boat regatta.

South Carolina Birds
How many ways can birds be rendered in art? Dozens, hundreds perhaps? South Carolina Birds, the exhibit curated by USC Ph.D. candidate Wim Roefs originally of the Netherlands, poses the question and attempts to answer it to a degree. The birds exhibited are not necessarily from or in South Carolina, but all are created by South Carolina artists. Some are realistic and perfectly rendered; others are abstract. Some are visible; others invisible! And some are simply funky! But all combine to make a most intriguing exhibit that all ages and attitudes can enjoy!
The exhibit will run November 4, 2004 – December 29, 2004 at the Myrtle Beach Art Museum.
