Brookgreen's Nights of a Thousand Candles Held Three Weekends in December!
Thousands of lights sparkle from live oak trees and illuminate garden paths, as musicians play, carolers sing and visitors experience the enchantment that only Nights of A Thousand Candles at Brookgreen Gardens can bring. This holiday magic returns to Brookgreen Gardens on Friday and Saturday evenings, Dec. 2 - 3, 9 -10 and 16 -17 from 4:30 to 9 p.m.

Dickens Christmas Show & Festivals

Come and enjoy three days of pickin' and grinin' at this Thanksgiving weekend Bluegrass Festival.
The event will be held November 24-26, 2005. Sit back, relax and listen to the picking, strumming and deep backwoods country music playing of Bluegrass greats. There will also be holiday food and drinks and music craft vendors to round out a day of great music.

4th Annual Festival of Trees
Ripley's Aquarium of Myrtle Beach is hosting its 4th annual Festival of Trees. From November 1 - December 31, 40 seven-foot holiday trees will be placed throughout the aquarium and decorated with unique ornaments representing 40 of our United States.
Decked in our finest for the holiday season, we have added special warmth and sparkle to every corner to proudly celebrate the heritage and diversity of these great United States. As you walk through the aquarium enjoying the sites of the fish and marine animals, you will also enjoy the holiday decorations and learn facts about the state that each tree represents. Some of the 2005 festival trees include the following states: New York, Ohio, North Carolina, New Jersey, Kentucky, Maryland, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Alaska, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
