Military Veterans, active Military personnel and their families from across the country will come together in Myrtle Beach for fun, great golf and camaraderie May 23-25, 2005. 8th Annual National Father & Son Team Classic
Each summer Myrtle Beach hosts the largest father and son golf competition in the world. This year's event will be held July 21-23, 2005. Year after year, fathers and son come together for this week of competitive golf and summertime fun. Martin's PGA TOUR Superstore has announced that it will be the title sponsor for this year's event. Each player will receive a $200 Martin’s gift certificate in their gift package along with additional Father & Son merchandise. The tournament is open to fathers/sons, grandfathers/grandsons, stepfathers/stepsons, fathers/sons (in-laws), and uncles/nephews. 36 flights play a challenging 54-hole format over 12 of the Grand Strand's finest layouts. The Bob Dylan Show with Willie Nelson
Two legendary performing artists Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson are scheduled to perform a concert at Coastal Federal Field on Friday, June 3rd. and tickets are on sale as you are reading this! Cost for all general admission tickets is set at $49.50 (plus tax and fees) with children under the age of 12 receiving free entrance to the show. Ticket sales are going very well in the early stages, and fans are encouraged to get their tickets before the day of the show to guard against any disappointment of not being able to corral one.

The 24th Annual Little River Blue Crab Festival
One of the most exciting family friendly festivals on the coast is right around the corner with the Little River Blue Crab Festival on May 14-15. Hit the streets of the Little River waterfront to celebrate with plenty of fun, food and entertainment for people of all ages. Arts and crafts vendors, food from local restaurants, live bands, and a children’s entertainment area with camel rides, games and inflatable rides, and helicopter rides aboard the Blue Crab One are all planned this year.
