53rd ANNUAL SUN FUN FESTIVAL
A visit to the Myrtle Beach Area and South Carolina's Grand Strand, especially during the annual Sun Fun Festival® - A Celebration of Summer, is a high-energy experience. The dazzling sights and sounds of the Strand's summer vacation season, combined with dozens of exciting festival events, have made Sun Fun a tradition with thousands of teenagers and adults alike.

2004 Sun Fun Festival North-South Cat Dash
This two day multihull event is sponsored by The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. Over $2,500 in cash, U.S. savings bonds, and other prizes have been won or given away during each of the last three years. This year’s regatta promises to be even bigger.

Two Days 'Round the Fourth
Two Days 'Round the Fourth will be held Friday, June 25, 2004 thru Saturday, June 26, 2004 under the Main Street Bridge in Downtown Conway. Events include a tennis tournament, live entertainment, antique and classic car show, children's activities, business expo, beauty pageant, and more. Admission is free.

Myrtle Beach State Park
Myrtle Beach State Park will be offering some natural history programs for June-July. Programs are free with the $3 per person admission (ages 15 and under are free) into the park and do not require pre-registration. For more information, please call 843-238-0874.

Military Veterans, active Military personnel and their families from across the country will come together in Myrtle Beach for fun, great golf and camaraderie May 24-26, 2004. This exciting three-day tournament will be flighted based on a combined team handicap.

Blue Angels to Soar at 2004 Sun Fun Festival
The Blue Angels, the flight demonstration squadron for the United States Navy, will headline two air shows at the 53rd annual Sun Fun Festival, slated June 3-7. The Blue Angels made their first and only Sun Fun appearance in 2000, wowing visitors and residents with their daredevil maneuvers over the Atlantic Ocean.
