Butterfly Season
Be sure to stop by for a relaxing day of butterfly watching this summer. The gardens are the perfect places to likely catch a glimpse of over 70 species of these wonderful creatures. Pick up a copy of the butterfly fact sheet at the Welcome Center and learn the best places in the gardens to observe butterflies, which flowers attract butterflies, how to become involved in butterfly conservation and how to enter Brookgreen's butterfly photo contest.

The Anynor Harvest Hoe-Down Festival 
The Anynor Harvest Hoe-Down Festival is a day long festival for the entire family. The festival is held in the middle of town at the park, with over 200 crafts booths. Lots of delicious food like chicken bog, hot dogs and scones as well as games for the kids. There is a parade at 10:00 and a street dance at 7:00, bring the family and spend the day with us. Entertainment under the big tent all day. The event will be held on September 18th, 9:00 am - 10:00 pm.

Enter your catch... caught from pier, surf, inlet or deep sea... for monthly decals, shoulder patches, and prizes totaling over $10,000 in cash and merchandise. Grand Prize of $2,000 awarded at the end of Rodeo. The weighmaster whose name is on the grand prize winner's entry card receives $200.
