Myrtle Beach Lifestyles Expo
Largest retirement show on the Carolina coast providing coastal retirees and visitors information on retirement and leisure lifestyles to include real estate opportunities, health services, special products, investment services, volunteer opportunities, community services, and live entertainment in Myrtle Beach. The event will be held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center January 7-8, 2005 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

The Budweiser Grand Strand Boat Show and Sale
This is the 21st year that the Grand Strand Boat  Association has presented this boat show. Find out how you can stop dreaming about fantastic vacations and weekends and start living the fun and excitement of boating. It may be romance you're looking for with that special someone. Boating is romantic. It may be wholesome family fun that you want. Boating surely leads to family togetherness. The event will be held January 14-16, 2005 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.

National Shag Dance Championships
The National Shag Dance Championships (N.S.D.C.) originated in March 1984 and will celebrate its 21st Finals contest in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina this March. The N.S.D.C. (as we are often called) is the longest running shag contest in the USA. The Nationals contest is the winner of two Feather Awards as "Best Swing Event in the USA."

Myrtle Beach Marathon
The Myrtle Beach Marathon will be held February 17-20, 2005. The event includes the RBC Bank 5K, Ripley’s Family Fun Run, BI-LO Marathon, Dasani Half Marathon, Marathon Relay and much more! The event will benefit the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society of South Carolina. In eight years, the marathon has helped the society raise over $500,000.

North Strand Business Expo
Discover what's new on the North Strand. One hundred businesses will showcase their products and services at the 1st North Strand Table Top Business Expo. The exhibitors will offer lots of free giveaways plus numerous mall merchants will have sidewalk specials. The event, sponsored by the Myrtle Beach Area, North Myrtle Beach and Little River chambers of commerce, along with Colonial Mall-Myrtle Beach, is free and open to the public. The expo will be held Jan. 27, 2005, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Colonial Mall-Myrtle Beach, 10177 N. Kings Hwy.
