Canadian American Days®
Shed the dreary coat of winter and celebrate the commencement of spring during the 44th Annual Canadian-American Days Festival®, held this year March 12-20 . For four decades, the festival has welcomed northern vacationers with warm South Carolina sunshine, beach games, community-sponsored activities, sporting events, and musical productions. Traditionally, the festival coincides with Ontario’s school holiday, enabling the entire family to plan a vacation along the 60 miles of clean, sandy beaches of the Grand Strand.

Golfapalooza
April 11th, 2005 the 'golf capital of the world,' kicks off the spring season with Golfapalooza, a four-day celebration of golf. We'll be joined by many of the leading golf equipment companies with opportunities to demo the game's newest products, compete for prizes, and to receive giveaways and special purchase discounts. In the evenings the festivities continue with exhibits, celebrity appearances, and complimentary food, beverage and entertainment. For more information, call 800-833-8798.

March of Dimes 3rd Annual Ride for Babies
"The ride will begin at Inlet Square Mall in Murrells Inlet and end with an after-party at HB Spokes on Highway 9 in Longs," says Clayton Mauldin, chairman of the Ride for Babies event. "Registration is from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., February 24, 2005 and the first bike will go out at 11:30 a.m.," he continued. The last bike should be out and on the road by 1 p.m. Before the event, riders are encouraged to collect contributions from family, friends and other motorcycle enthusiasts to help the March of Dimes fund vital research and programs to find the causes of premature birth.

Run to The Sun XVI
Run to The Sun XVI will take place at the Waccamaw Factory Shoppes, March 17-18, 2005. Presented by Pee Dee Street Rodders & Waccamaw factory Shoppes. Proceeds from the show go to the Children's Miracle Network and to National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Myrtle Beach Marathon
The Myrtle Beach Marathon will be held February 17-20, 2005. The event includes the RBC Bank 5K, Ripley’s Family Fun Run, BI-LO Marathon, Dasani Half Marathon, Marathon Relay and much more! The event will benefit the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society of South Carolina. In eight years, the marathon has helped the society raise over $500,000.

Coastal Doll Collector's Show 2005
South Carolina's 25th Annual Doll Show and Sale March 5 & 6, 2005, Sat. and Sun. 10AM - 5PM at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center Exhibit Hall C, 21st Ave. North and Oak Street, Myrtle Beach, SC.
