First Annual Celebration of Flowers
Visit Myrtle Beach and experience our First Annual Celebration of Flowers located at Broadway at the Beach. The event is sponsored by Star 92.1. Enjoy vendor displays located near Celebrity Square Fountain Area and take advantage of the Plant Problem Clinic featuring Clemson University Extension/Master Gardeners on Friday's from 5-8 p.m. in the tent near The Coffee Beanery. Bring your plants and all your gardening questions.

The Anynor Harvest Hoe-Down Festival 
The Anynor Harvest Hoe-Down Festival is a day long festival for the entire family. The festival is held in the middle of town at the park, with over 200 crafts booths. Lots of delicious food like chicken bog, hot dogs and scones as well as games for the kids. There is a parade at 10:00 and a street dance at 7:00, bring the family and spend the day with us. Entertainment under the big tent all day. The event will be held on September 18th, 9:00 am - 10:00 pm.

New Roads Making getting around Myrtle Beach easier!
A one billion dollar road improvement project is nearing completion which will make Myrtle Beach one of the easiest vacation destinations in the world to travel. New high speed roads such as the Highway 31, Highway 22 and the Robert Grissom Parkway mean there are many new routes in and around the beach. Improvements and widening to Bypass 17, US 501 and US 544 allow vacationers and locals alike to travel the entire Grand Strand in a matter of minutes.

National Police Golf Championship
The National Police Golf Championship will be held October 17-20, 2004 at Wild Wing Golf Plantation and Bay Tree Golf Plantation. Every law enforcement officer who enjoys the game of golf should make this year's National Police Golf Championship a part of their vacation plans. The tournament, open to all active and retired officers, as well as friends of police, unites officers from all across the country for three days of friendly competition and remarkable brotherhood.
